المؤسسة القطرية للعمل الاجتماعي تشارك في المنتدى العالمي لليونسكو لمكافحة العنصرية والتمييز في برشلونة

Qatar Social Work Foundation, along with its centers, including Al Shafallah Center, Aman Center and Al Noor Center, participated in the 4th edition of the UNESCO Global Forum against Racism and Discrimination held in Barcelona, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union, and UNESCO.

This annual forum serves as an important platform that brings together representatives from governments, municipalities, civil society organizations, and academic institutions to discuss prominent issues and exchange the best solutions to strengthen the global movement against racism and discrimination.

The fourth edition of the forum focused on key issues including combating racism, empowering women, and empowering people with disabilities, while promoting the exchange of experiences among civil society organizations. This contributes to the development of effective policies to combat racism at both local and global levels.

The participation of Qatar Foundation for Social Work comes as part of its commitment to combat discrimination and promote equality in society, making it a cornerstone in supporting the social sector in Qatar. The foundation also seeks to enhance institutional partnerships with relevant international organizations, as part of achieving Qatar’s National Vision 2030, which aims to build a cohesive society that ensures the well-being of all its individuals and promotes values of social solidarity, with a focus on sustainable human and social development across all sectors.
