The Qatar Foundation for Social Work signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al Sadd Sports Club on strengthening cooperation between the two parties in the areas of community and sports work, and enhancing the integration of beneficiaries from the centers under the foundation's umbrella into sports and social activities, which will contribute to achieving social inclusion and improving quality of life.

The MoU was signed by Acting CEO of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work Khalid bin Mohammed Al Kuwari and General Manager of Al Sadd SC Turki Nasser Al Ali Al Maadeed.

This partnership stems from both parties' belief in the importance of integrating community and sports efforts and enhancing corporate social responsibility. The MoU stipulates cooperation in organizing joint events, offering discounts to beneficiaries and foundation employees, and making Al Sadd SC facilities available for use in the foundation's programs and activities and centers, including the autism center and the swimming pool designated for people with disabilities.

Marking the occasion, Khalid bin Mohammed Al Kuwari emphasized the foundation's commitment to building bridges of cooperation with various vital sectors in the country. He noted that this agreement with Al Sadd SC embodies the foundation's commitment to activating community partnerships that contribute to improving the quality of life for beneficiary groups and support their effective integration into society through sports, culture, and interactive activities.

In turn, Turki bin Nasser Al Ali Al Maadeed said that Al Sadd SC is proud of this partnership with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, which aligns with the vision of Al Sadd SC to enhance the club's community role and open the way for various segments of society to participate and benefit from the club's activities. Al Sadd SC looks forward to achieving a tangible positive impact through its joint cooperation in upcoming events and initiatives.

The MoU also allows the foundation's beneficiaries to attend sporting events and matches through free invitations provided by the club. It also includes cooperation in social and sporting media campaigns and mutual support for various activities that enhance community awareness. This agreement reflects the Qatar Foundation for Social Work commitment to expanding its network of strategic partners to support and empower targeted groups.
